Compliance and Persistence Chart
The blue squares represent what the physician prescribed while the red dots what the patient consumes. A red dot on top of a blue square means the patient is taking the medication exactly as prescribed. A red dot below (above) a blue square means the patient is consuming less (more) than the physician ordered.
Question: What is the observed DACON of the patient? The prescribed DACON is obvious: It is what is written on the prescription.
Answer: It is based partly on the next script filled.
